Butt injection or augmentation with substances other than fat or butt implant are not FDA approved and are not safe. Injection of these substances can pose significant health risk. You may also schedule a telephone consultation with Dr. Okoro. In the telephone consultation, Dr. Okoro will review your photographs and discuss the surgery with you. The fat removed from the selected area of the body is carefully processed and purified then it is injected to the buttocks. Usually a large amount of fat is needed to obtain the best butt lift. In order to get enough fat, Dr. Okoro must liposuction at least 2 areas of your body. After liposuction, Dr. Okoro carefully purifies the fat so that only the best donor fat cells are re-injected back into your buttocks for augmentation. The fat is placed or transferred to the buttocks with special cannula using sterile technique. Following the Brazilian butt lift procedure, you must not sit directly on your buttocks for up to two weeks. This ensures for a permanent result. Most people can return to work in 2-3 weeks. You must wear a special garment (to control swelling) for two weeks. There may be a small amount of swelling for up to 6 weeks. Once the swelling is gone, your butt will look and feel completely natural!
However, you should be able to resume all normal activities at 4 weeks post op.
